Grants for replacing windows and doors in apartments

Residents of apartment buildings who wish to replace the windows or entrance doors in their units may be eligible for a subsidy covering up to 85% of the costs of purchasing and installing these fixtures. This support will help reduce heat loss, improve energy efficiency, and lower heating expenses.

The maximum grant amount is 6,000 PLN. A minimum personal contribution of 15% of the eligible costs is required. The subsidy is provided in the form of a reimbursement, meaning that residents must first finance the project using their own funds and will subsequently receive a partial refund of the costs incurred, following a successful review and settlement of the project.

What can be funded?

The support covers the purchase and installation of brand-new windows and/or exterior doors for a residential unit, provided they meet the technical requirements specified in the Program.

Who is eligible to apply for funding?

Individuals may apply for support if they meet all of the following conditions:

• they are the owners, co-owners, or holders of a cooperative ownership right to a residential unit located in a multi-family building;
• they have permanently resided or have been officially registered (have a *zameldowanie* status) at the address covered by the application for at least 12 months;
• they do not conduct any business or agricultural activity within the unit, and the unit is not used for such purposes;
• they do not rent out the unit—in whole or in part—to third parties;
• they intend to replace windows and/or doors that have been in use for at least 15 years.
  
  In the case of co-ownership, the consent of all co-owners is required.
