Residents of Ciechanów can now access support from the city during their recovery period. A total of 100 new pieces of rehabilitation equipment—including hospital beds, wheelchairs, crutches, and walking frames—have been made available for use at home. The equipment can be borrowed free of charge. The purchase was funded through resources secured by the municipal authorities under the Polish-Swiss Urban Development Programme.
Individuals recovering from injuries or surgeries, or those managing illnesses, no longer need to bear the high costs of purchasing rehabilitation equipment. These new items, acquired by the city, are intended to facilitate recovery and help ensure safe care for patients within their own homes.
The city has made 100 new pieces of rehabilitation equipment available, including 10 specialized hospital beds, 10 wheelchairs, four-wheeled rollators, wheeled walking frames, elbow crutches, standing frames, and a stair climber.
